The Color Kindle is coming and when it gets here it is going to be awesome. Amazon is taking it’s time with the R & D to make sure our experience is premium and their product bullet proof. I for one cannot stand the wait. I know there are other products that can offer a Kindle experience, but the original was and is an icon of human development and has been a boon for a return to old fashion reading for pleasure.

What Price A Color Kindle

The rumor mill is rife with speculation about the pricing, Amazon is a very well developed marketing machine and their research is renown for being accurate, so I expect the price to be spot on affordable and within the range of most folks. I think they will want the take up of the product to be steady rather than ipad like. Amazon will want to have plenty of downloads available for new users, especially new release books and classics. My pick $199 to $249 usd. More than the current model, but not that expensive as to put consumers in a spin about it’s value.

Only one place really. Amazon is the place and if their are any bugs you will want them to be your agent. You can access the Kindle page of Amazon here. From time to time this site will be offering free, virus free downloads for readers. Check our blog for updates. Other sites may offer the Kindle, but buying direct from Amazon is your best bet. Some major department stores will offer the product, but they are only interested in the sale not the back up.

Personalize Your Color Kindle

Just like the current model, you can customize your new model with a color skin or a protective and shock resistant cover. My preference is for the protective cover, as I am always resting my Kindle on the arm of my lounge chair and it inevitably gets a trip to the carpet once an evening at least. I recommend these covers.
